Lucasfilm has announced that an animated musical movie 'Strange Magic,' with a story created by its executive producer George Lucas, is set to hit the theatres on January 23rd.

The studio calls the movie that is directed by Gary Rydstrom a "madcap fairy tale," which is inspired by 'A Midsummer Night's Dream,' the Verge reported.

The music in the project, whose screenplay is created by David Berenbaum, will be composed of hits from the past six decades.

The movie is said to have a really great voice cast, including Alan Cumming, Maya Rudolph, Alfred Molina, and Kristin Chenoweth, among others.
