George Michael's Symphonica recently topped UK album charts beating Kylie Minogue 'Kiss Me Once' album.

The Grammy Award winner told OfficialCharts.com that it was nice to be able to savour this wonderful moment and that he was a lucky man, BBC reported.

Symphonica is Michael's first new album in nearly 10 years, and was recorded during the singer's 2011/12 world tour.

The 50-year-old British artist's album sold just over 20,000 copies more than Minogue's.
