Giphy unveils a Chrome extension for easy to email GIFs

Giphy, the search and database site for animated gifs, has released a Chrome extension.

According to the Verge, the Chrome extension allows users to find and embed GIFs directly into their mails through Gmail's web interface.

Users will see Giphy's rainbow icon right beside the formatting options button in their edit bar after installing the extension. Clicking on that will bring up a box of GIFs which user can filter by category, browse hashtags, a search bar and a few trending animations. By clicking on the GIF it can added to e-mail.
