NITI Aayog CEO, Amitabh Kant, on Saturday said that the Global Entrepreneurship Summit which will be held in New Delhi from November 28 - 30, will have a huge impact to promote startups and entrepreneurship in India.
"This will be the biggest and the best global entrepreneurship summit with maximum participation and the best speakers and it will have a huge impact to promote startups and entrepreneurship in India," said Kant addressing the media here today.
The 'Global Entrepreneurship Summit' is being hosted by NITI Aayog in partnership with the Government of the United States of America.
Advisor to President Trump, Ivanka Trump, will lead the US delegation.
The three day Summit which will see 1500 participants from 150 countries will have 1/3rd participants from India, 1/3rd from US and the remaining from other countries.
The summit will host a wide range of speakers with diverse backgrounds from more than 35 countries. These eminent personalities will share their insights and outlook for the future of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
MIT Professors Carlo Ratti and Danielle Wood; prominent Indian entrepreneurs such as founder and CEO, Ocimum Bio Solutions, Anuradha Acharya; co-founder, Shopclues, Radhika Aggarwal; founder, OYO Rooms, Ritesh Agarwal; award-winning chef, Vikas Khanna will share their perspectives on scaling tech start-ups and venturing off the beaten track.
Eminent sports personalities such as Pullela Gopichand, Sania Mirza, and Chatri Sityodtong, will talk about making a successful career in sports.
Other speakers include international leaders such as John Chambers, Prem Watsa, and Marcus Wallenberg.
