Czech Republic goalkeeper Petr Cech has announced his international retirement on Friday, days after his side's group-stage exit at the Euro 2016.
Posting a picture of him in the dressing room with his Czech team-mates, the 34-year-old Arsenal goalkeeper wrote on Twitter, "We lived some amazing moments together - Wishing the team all the best for the future CZE."
Meanwhile, the Arsene Wenger-led club also took to Twitter to congratulate Cech on his record-breaking career.
"Petr Cech has announced his international retirement - congratulations on a record-breaking career," Arsenal said.
Cech, who made his senior international debut in 2002, went on to represent the national squad at Euro 2004 and 2006 World Cup before leading the side at Euro 2008,the Daily Express reported.
Cech, who joined Arsenal from London rivals Chelsea last summer, holds a record 121 caps for his country besides holding another record of the most clean sheets in the Premier League.
