Google doodle is celebrating India's 69th Independence Day by marking Mahatma Gandhi's famous walk for salt, Dandi March, as its doodle on 15th August.

In the animated doodle, the father of the nation was seen heading the march, which was followed by other freedom fighters that later became the beginning of the Civil Disobedience Movement.

Notably, last year the Google posted a doodle on its homepage featuring the independent India's first stamp, commemorating the 68th Independence Day.
