Google's Calendar application has released a new set of features that automates events for users' convenience wherein the app sends flight confirmations, restaurant reservations, concert tickets and other updates to Gmail accounts and turns them into calendar events.
According to Pcworld.com, this feature is enabled by default and can be disabled through Google Calendar settings.
The update also adds auto-complete suggestions for new events whereby if users start typing the word "Birthday", they would see things like "Birthday dinner" or "Birthday party for..." as suggestions.
Google Calendar users will also be able to see suggested contact names and addresses as they type.
