After the failing to present the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill or the Telangana Bill in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, the government will table the bill in the House tomorrow.
"We tried our level best to bring the Bill in the Rajya Sabha today. But there were certain issues which were pointed out by the Leader of Opposition. We are trying to pursue them and I am hopeful that the Bill will be tabled tomorrow," said Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajeev Shukla.
Earlier Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders Arun Jaitley and Venkaiah Naidu to seek the opposition's support for the Bill.
Meanwhile the Rajya Sabha passed the Street Vendors Bill, Governors Emoluments Bill, National Institute of Technology and Rani Laxmi Bai Agricultural University Bill.
