Ivan Gazidis, the Arsenal chief executive, has reportedly said that he is expecting manager Arsene Wenger to sign a new contract after the expiration of his current deal.
Last month, the 64-year old Wenger had hinted that he would take a decision following questions about his future plans.
Speaking at the announcement of a new kit deal with Puma, Gazidis said that there was no rush in regard to the club's hierarchy and said that an announcement will be made at the right time proclaiming Wenger as the right person to see the squad forward, Sports 24 reported.
The Arsenal-Puma deal, starting from July, is reportedly worth more than 30 million euro and has been described as the biggest deal for the duo.
