New Zealand opener Martin Guptill has urged his side to continue their brilliant performance if they are to seal the three-match ODI series against South Africa.

New Zealand levelled the three-match ODI series by a commanding eight-wicket win over South Africa in their second ODI in Potchefstroom.

The 28-year-old said that the tourists need to put aspects of both games together and play the complete game if they want to win, Stuff.co.nz reported.

Guptill, who smacked an unbeaten 103 to steer home to victory, insisted that his side have to be quick-witted and would continue to play well to claim victory over the hosts.

Earlier, South Africa had claimed a 20-run victory in their first ODI match at Centurion.

The two sides will now lock horns in the series decider at Durban on August 26.
