Gwen Stefani has received a restraining order against an obsessed fan who threatened to kill himself because he couldn't bear looking at the singer's photos showing her tripping.
The 'What You Waiting For' singer, who received protection against her fan Richard Portnoy, claimed that the guy has shown up numerous times at her home with flowers, candy, cards and letters, and wrote her a letter offering to essentially rescue her from her supposedly unhappy life, TMZ.com reported.
Portnoy, who is rich and drives expensive cars, including a Porsche and a Mercedes, recently visited the Stefani's house and told her dad that that he had seen photos of her tripping, and if she had injured herself, he would not be able to go on living.
