Hamilton vows not to fall for Red Bull's 'mind-games' ahead of Bahrain Grand Prix

Mercedes racer Lewis Hamilton has reportedly vowed not to fall for rivals Red Bull's mind-games ahead of this weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix.

Ahead of the practice at Sakhir, Hamilton said that the name of the game is to take the focus off oneself and put it on someone else, as rival Red Bull boss Christian Horner piled on the pressure on Mercedes saying that the racer duo of Hamilton and Nico Rosberg were odds-on to grab their hat-trick.

According to the Mirror, the Mercedes denied that successive wins did not mean a hat trick is a dead certainty and said that after every race the game resets and a racer gets a different reading next time.

The Formula One racer also said that although in the main race Red Bull was very competitive, putting in competitive times, but during the qualifying in the wet they looked closer and then in the dry it was a little bit different.

Mercedes has reportedly dominated the charts in the previous two Grand Prix's this season, as the team's driver Nico Rosberg won the first one in Melbourne, Australia and Hamilton won the second won in Malaysia.

Red Bull racer Sebastian Vettel came third in Malaysia, although he was just a handful of seconds behind Rosberg, but the gap to Hamilton was gaping, the report added.
