Hampshire plane crash: Bin Laden's relatives were onboard

A Saudi Arabian embassy in the UK has said in a statement that family members of former al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden were on board the plane that crashed in Hampshire, killing four people.

According to the BBC, the statement from the Saudi ambassador to the UK came in a message of condolence addressed to Bin Laden family.

The embassy said it was in contact with the British crash investigators.

Hampshire police are reportedly carrying out a joint investigation with the UK's Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB).
