Haryana Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu Singh Sindhu on Saturday termed the disappearance of missing land deal documents related to Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra as very serious, and said that the
state government has constituted an enquiry and will ensure that justice prevails in this case.

"A very serious matter of disappearance of two pages of a very important file has come to the notice of the Government of Haryana. The Government of Haryana has constituted an enquiry (committee) and Chief Secretary, Government of Haryana, is looking into the matter," he told ANI here.
"The government of Haryana will look into the matter in a very detailed and close scrutiny, and we will ensure that justice prevails. Anyone who has done anything wrong will be booked under the law," he added.

The Haryana Finance Minister also urged the various political parties not to do any politics related to this matter.

"I urge the political parties not to do politics on it. And no one who feels that they have not done anything wrong need not worry about it. But it is strange and amusing that the Congress party is jumping over the board and reacting in haste, the truth is yet to come out," he said.
Array
"Our government will look into the whole matter with complete impartiality, neutrality and objectivity and will investigate into it as deep as possible. If anyone, however big he or she may be has done anything wrong, the law will take its own course," he added.

According to reports, some pages from the official files pertaining to the controversial DLF-Robert Vadra deal have gone missing. This was revealed after IAS officer Ashok Khemka, who had blown the lid off the alleged land scam, received a copy of the file through a Right to Information (RTI) petition.
Khemka had earlier alleged that he was being persecuted for challenging the land deals involving Vadra. The senior bureaucrat has been in the news since October 2012 for canceling the mutation of Vadra's DLF land deal.
