The Haryana Government on Saturday launched an online portal for filing applications for compensation of loss due to recent Jat quota agitation in the state.
Numerous cases of looting, ransacking, vandalism and arson were reported across Haryana during the stir.
According to reports, Haryana government had earlier on Wednesday announced that those who suffered property loss during Jat quota agitation, on the basis of self-assessment of the damage, could claim up to 25 per cent as interim relief immediately.

The state government had on Tuesday directed insurance companies to expedite their claim settlement process so that they disburse insurance claims at earliest.
