Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have witnessed heavy rains over the past 24 hours, leaving an estimated 10 people dead.
The untimely rain has also destroyed hundreds of acres of crops, including paddy, mango and cotton, while strong winds have affected the power supply in the region.
According to reports, the meteorological department has predicted that the rains will continue for the next two days.
