Heavy storm kills eight in Dehradun

At least eight people died after roof of a house collapsed due to a heavy storm in Jaunsar Bawar village in Dehradun district of Uttarakhand.

According to reports, roofs of around 20 houses collapsed in the storm struck area and many people are said to be still trapped inside the debris.

The state police have commenced the rescue operations.
