Bollywood's veteran actress and Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Hema Malini filed her nomination papers on Thursday from Mathura in to fight the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Hema Malini said she was fortunate that she had got an opportunity to serve the people of the holy city.
"I have signed nominations today and I am very happy. I consider myself very lucky that I got a chance to contest from Mathura and work for the welfare of the people of Mathura and I will work towards the development of the city, keeping its culture and traditions alive, said Hema Malini.
