The Director of Fortis Hospital, Dr. P. Tamboli on Friday said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Hema Malini, who is recovering after being injured in a road accident, underwent a surgery last night.
"A team of doctors will evaluate her in the afternoon. Hopefully she will leave for Mumbai soon. The person traveling with Hemaji was saved because of the airbag. I cannot say about others as I didn't go to the crash site. Hema Malini had a nasal fracture and had a laceration on the nose. She underwent surgery last night," Tamboli said.
