Former NFL star Aaron Hernandez who is confined at the Bristol County House of Correction in Massachusetts has reportedly gone down the stardom path and is adjusting to the life of an inmate.
Hernandez has been charges with murder and is being confined in a 7-foot-by-10-foot cell in which he spends 21 hours a day in solitary confinement, Washington Times reports.
Bristol County Sheriff Thomas M. Hodgson said that they have to be very careful as inmates could attack Hernandez 'to raise their stature.'
The inmates call Hernandez a 'punk' and a 'bum', while Hodgson said that he was very polite and very respectful and didn't seem nervous but seemed very comfortable.
In the prison, Hernandez is now only allowed one hour of exercise a day in a fenced area with a guard watching him at all times and is allowed visitation from a list he submits of five people.
The report added that it less than 18 months ago that Hernandez was catching a touchdown pass in the Super Bowl.
