Hilary Duff has criticized the gross media attention she received post ending 3 years of marriage with former hockey pro hubby Mike Comrie.
The 27-year-old singer, who graced the new issue of Elle Canada in a embellished little black dress, said that though she had dealt with attention in the past, she had turned to her therapist to handle the "invasive and insensitive" negative attention, E! Online reported.
The former 'Lizzie McGuire' star, who has a 2-year-old son with Comrie, added that being imperfect was human, and the best way handle such situations was to just own up to your mistakes.
The mother of one also talked about 2-year-old son Luca. The actress says little Luca is reaching the age where he understands his mom is a famous star.
