Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has warned that the Islamic State (IS) group is more powerful than al Qaeda because it is the most professional and the best-funded group that the world has ever seen.
According to CBS News, Clinton, in interview conducted by the national co-chairman of her 2008 presidential bid, said that IS group is more advanced and richer than al Qaeda ever was.
She also supported President Barack Obama's plan to conduct airstrikes in Iraq and Syria against the IS group.
Clinton also said in an interview with the Atlantic in August that the rise of IS militants was a result of a failure to arm the Syrian opposition during the civil war.
