Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Monday trained his guns at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led NDA government at the Centre for failing to give a befitting reply to Pakistan and China on border violations.
"The BJP said it will retaliate to Pakistan in a befitting manner when it comes to power. Its been 100 days since they came to power there's been trouble at border atleast more than 100 times," Haryana chief minister said at an election rally here.
"When the Chinese President was visiting India, incursions were taking place right at the time. They talked about bringing black money back to the country within 100 days, what has happened to that," he added.
Punching holes on the BJP's claim of Acche Din, Chief Minister Hooda said, "They talked about Acche Din, but they did not mentioned about the time. Once they came to power they forced the common man and peasants to take the bitter pill. BJP's mask has been peeled off; the reality is infront all of you."
Reaching out to the women and farmers of the state he said, "The BJP spoke of controlling inflation; ask the women, has the price of the vegetables come down? Hasn't the prices of pesticides doubled. BJP's policies are not for the poor, for the backward or for the lower classes. We have made a lot of decisions in the favour of farmers, like paying for their interest rates on loans."
Highlighting about his governments efforts, the chief minister also talked about his government's sports policy which he said was showing results wherein the sportspersons hailing from the state were bringing laurels in various international sports events.
Haryana will go to polls on October 15 along with Maharashtra while the counting in both states will be held on October 19.
