Christian secular forum in Mumbai has reportedly slapped a legal notice on actor Hrithik Roshan and sought an unconditional apology for his tweet on Pope.
The notice alleges that the tweet is "hurting the religious sentiments."
Though the notice was sent on March 28, Abraham Mithai of the Christian secular forum claimed that the actor received it yesterday.
As per a leading news channel, Hrithik's lawyer said that they have not received any notice yet, but the star is ready to seek an apology, if religious sentiments were hurt.
Amidst rumours of dating Kangana Ranaut, Hrithik in January had tweeted: "Ther r more chances of me having had an affair with d Pope dan any of d (Im sure wonderful)women d media hs ben naming. Thanks but no thanks."
The 'Bang Bang' actor had tweeted this in January 28 as a public reaction to an interview by his alleged former girlfriend Kangana, in which the 'Queen' actress said that a "silly ex" was giving her trouble and causing her to lose roles.
Two weeks ago, Hrithik and Kangana Ranaut had allegedly sent out legal notices to each other after they got involved in an ugly spat, making controversial statements against each other.
