Art has no language, no boundaries and an artist, if a true artist, can turn anything into a masterpiece. One such incident has come to light, where an artist named Shivlingappa Badhiger is using vermicelli to make sculptures.
Badhiger is now making a statue of former Karnataka Chief Minister D. Devaraj Urs so that it can be displayed on the occasion of Dussehra in Mysore city.
"Everyone uses mud, sand and stones to make a statue. I wanted to make something different. So, I decided to use vermicelli for making the statue. I get this type of inspiration form my mother," Badhiger said.
The Karnataka Government has instructed the horticulture department of the state to make statues on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Urs.
