Zenit St. Petersburg striker Hulk has confirmed his interest in linking up with Andre Villas-Boas again by opening the door on a January transfer to Tottenham.
According to Metro.co.uk, he has gone off the boil since moving to Zenit in Russia, but Hulk admits he would be interested in linking up with Villas-Boas at Spurs.
Hulk said that he learned a lot with Andre Villas-Boas at Porto, adding that the manager is very intelligent tactically and he is so well informed about the opponents that they pretty much knew everything about them when they went out on to the pitch.
Hulk enjoyed the best form of his career under Villas-Boas whilst at Porto, scoring 36 goals in 51 matches as the Portuguese club won a domestic double plus the Europa League, the report said.
Tottenham were strongly linked with a move for the 27-year-old in the summer, but despite Villas-Boas confirming his interest, Zenit priced them out of a move, the report added.
However, it's thought that a deal could now be struck in January, with Spurs likely to spend big on another forward to boost their title push, the report further said.
Hulk would likely cost in the region of 25 million pounds, according to the report.
