Hyderabad: Four arrested with Rs. 1.2 crores in old currency notes

A four-member gang was on Monday arrested for trying to exchange old currency notes to new denominations.

According to the police, the four-member gang brought the old currency of Rs. 1.2 crore in Rs. 500 and 1,000 old denominations to exchange with new denominations.

On receiving an information, the police reached the spot and arrested the four persons and seized Rs. 1.2 crore of old currency.

The seized money and the four persons will be handed over to the I.T officials.
