British number one Heather Watson says that she will be taking a lot of confidence from her defeat against Serena Williams at Wimbledon.
Watson gave Serena a major scare before the defending champion recovered to win 6-2 4-6 7-5, with Watson serving for the match at 5-4 in the decider.
Watson said that she was very disappointed as she was just two points away from winning the match, but insisted that she has learnt that she could compete with the best in the world and could play some real good tennis, the BBC reported.
Meanwhile, the world number one heaped praise for her opponent, saying that the way Watson played was unbelievable.
