Bollywood actress Richa Chadda recently expressed that she thinks nothing could lay a long impact in this country.

The 29-year-old actress came up with the answer at the screening event of Amitabh Bachchan's upcoming court-room drama 'Pink' when she was asked about her opinion about whether the social issue picked in the movie would be able to lay a long impact on the people.

"I don't think anything could lay a long impact in this country but I hope this film does because we need to remember what happens in the past so that we can learn from the mistakes and move on," she said.

However, the 'Masaan' actress vouched for the movie and said, "I know it would be a good film, they have picked an important issue. It's about the issue of consent between guys and girls, women, men and gender based violence. I think it's important to make such films. Entertainment anyway comes along but if a film is able to make a difference in anybody's mindset then its good."

The first day screening of Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's directorial saw a lot of B-town celebrities including Preity Zinta, Kriti Sanon, Dino Morea, Arbaaz Khan, Juhi Chawla, Sophia Chaudary, Pooja Bhatt and Harshvardhan Rane.

Along with megastar Big B, the movie also features Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Piyush Mishra and Angad Bedi.

The movie will release on September 16.
