Simon Cowell has revealed that he wished he was gay, while admitting that his womanising ways risked him going bankrupt and life would be easier if he just dated men instead.

The 'X Factor' boss, 53, who is expecting his first child with Lauren Silverman, told TV presenter Terri Seymour that he would have saved a fortune over the years if he preferred to date men instead of women, Contactmusic reported.

Cowell is known for showering his former flames with pricey gifts and regularly taking them on lavish holidays.
