The Supreme Court on Monday issued a notice to the Centre and the Jammu and Kashmir Government asking them to file a reply on the issue of getting benefits by the minority community in the state within four weeks.
The petitioner in the case is Ankur Sharma, who is seeking the court's intervention for a direction to identify the minorities in Jammu and Kashmir and give all the benefits to the deserving people.
Sharma also sought that at present, the wrong people are getting illegal benefits of welfare schemes meant for the minority community.
