Kate Winslet and Idris Elba are stranded survivours in the new 'The Mountains Between Us' trailer.
The first trailer of the highly-anticipated movie 'The Mountain Between Us' was unveiled on Twitter and it seems people would surely gonna get cold-feet while watching the movie.
The trailer opens with Ben (Idris Elba) and Alex (Kate Winslet) finding one another amid an urgent need to depart from the airport for their pressing engagements, and wind up taking a charter flight with one another.
The plane gets crashed on desolated, snowy mountains as Elba calls for help after getting out of the plane.
"Alex, can you look at me? You've really hurt your leg. your phone is smashed, my phone has no signal and we're pretty high up on the mountain," says Ben to the Winslet's character as they take shelter in the shell of the destroyed aircraft.
Adding, "If we stay here, we're safe, search and rescue, they're less likely to find us."
As her assessment of the situation becomes more critical with both the characters unsuccessfully trying to catch the attention of an over-passing aircraft, she says, "Nobody knows where we are - we're all we've got, me and you!"
The trailer ends with Ben and Alex try to make it to safety, with dangerous situations only a step away.
The trailer looks intense, visually stunning and it looks like the movie would make some people uneasy.
Helmed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Hany Abu-Assad, the movie is based on the novel of the same name by Charles Martin.
The movie is slated for a release on October 20th in the US.
