Cliff Richard has said during a TV interview that even if he were gay, it wouldn't make any difference.
The 73-year-old singer said that the rumours about him being gay hurt him when he was young and affected his family too, the Daily Express reported.
He said that it doesn't really matter to him any more, as he has gay friends and most people have gay friends.
The 'Living Doll' hitmaker didn't reveal whether he was gay or straight, but admitted that he never wanted the responsibility of a wife and family.
Richard added that he just didn't get married, as he never felt that it was the right time and he can do the things he wants to do.
