Uttar Pradesh Health Minsiter Siddharth Nath Singh on Thursday said that if there is any conspiracy behind the derailment of the Delhi bound Jabalpur-Mahakaushal Express, the state government would order an investigation into it.

Singh told ANI, "The very moment we got to know about the incident, as per the orders of UP CM Yogi Adityanath, I as the Health Minister, along with my team reached the spot. Ambulances were rushed immediately to aid the injured passengers."

Singh also announced compensation Rs. 25000 will be given to those who had suffered minor injuries while the critical ones will get Rs. 50000.

Singh further informed that rescue operations have been speeded up.

"Railway teams from Allahabad and Jhansi immediately reached the spot without any delay. I have talked to the Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu as well. I have been informed that a portion of the track may have been broken due to welding," he added.

The reason behind this broken welding will be investigated further, he added.

Eight coaches of a Delhi bound Jabalpur-Mahakaushal Express had derailed near Kulapahar in Uttar Pradesh's Mahoba this morning.

The remaining coaches of the train will be moved forward towards Jhansi where eight additional coaches will be attached.
