In yet another achievement in his eventful career in Bollywood, Varun Dhawan has won the award for the Best Actor in a comic role at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards.

The 30-year-old actor, who won the title for the movie 'Dishoom,' dedicated the award to his brother Rohit Dhawan.

This was such a great win for him because he was up against some really talented actors. Other Nominees in the field included Jimmy Shergill for 'Happy Bhag Jayegi' and Rishi Kapoor for 'Kapoor & Sons.'

Meanwhile, Jim Sarbh walked away with an IIFA award for Best Performance in a Negative Role for 'Neerja.'

The 29-year-old actor was up against some huge names for the big award - Neil Nitin Mukesh for 'Wazir' and Shah Rukh Khan for 'Fan.'

The 18th edition of the awards ceremony, which celebrates the achievements of Bollywood in different cities across the world, is a three-day extravaganza that started from July 13 and is being held at the iconic MetLife Stadium in New York.

Besides Bollywood celebrities, several Hollywood stars, including Angelina Jolie, action star Jackie Chan, Australian pop-star Kylie Minogue, British actor Colin Firth, Hollywood stars Hillary Swank, Kevin Spacey and John Travolta, have also been a part of IIFA in the past.
