Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has expressed his unhappiness over the poor attendance of protesters at the Azadi March sit-in.
According to the Dawn, Imran Khan summoned all leaders from Rawalpindi on Wednesday and met them inside the Azadi Truck on the Constitution Avenue.
In order to exhibit more street strength during the party's 'final stage', the PTI chief has asked the leaders to bring at least 200 people from each union council for the next two to three days, the report said.
A senior PTI leader quoted Imran as saying that if all office-bearers attended the sit-in, then more than 1,000 people will remain on the protest venue.
Imran told the local leaders that the responsibility to improve the attendance of the gathering in the next two or three 'final' days was on their shoulders.
The PTI chief asked the party leaders to remain loyal to the party and to be ready for the final announcement of the movement, the senior party leader further said.
