Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has adopted a less conciliatory attitude towards armed militants.
Khan said that peace talks should be initiated with only those militants who are ready to renounce violence and accept writ of the state.
In a statement' he pleaded to isolate those' pursuing the path of violence from those who are prepared for ceasefire and talks within the ambit of the constitution, Dawn News reports.
Khan implied that those unwilling to renounce violence should be taken head on and talks should be held only with who were willing to engage in dialogue.
According to the report, he said that if peace is to be given a chance, then it is essential to isolate those who are dedicated to an agenda of violence from those who are prepared to have a ceasefire and talk peace within the ambit of the Constitution of Pakistan.
