In-form Kohli becomes fastest batsman to score 24th ODI ton

Indian batsman Virat Kohli registered his 24th ODI century and thus becomes the quickest batsman in the world to reach the milestone.

The 27-year-old smashed six boundaries and a six to reach the milestone during his side's third ODI of the five-match series against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Sunday.

Earlier in a day, Kohli also became the fastest batsman to reach 7000 ODI runs in 161 innings, surpassing South Africa star AB de Villiers' record of 166 innings.
