India has lost the wicket of Sachin Tendulkar before lunch in the second Test against the West Indies but has taken an impressive 100-run lead with seven wickets remaining in their first innings.

They are currently cruising at 282/3 with Virat Kohli unbeaten on 36 and Cheteshwar Pujara in a strong position at 85 not out.

The crowd fell into a long silence as opposition captain Darren Sammy caught Tendulkar (74) while he was facing Narsingh Deonarine.

Rohit Sharma is next in the order.
