India Power Corporation Ltd. recently announced the appointment of Sanjeev Seth as CEO, Transmission and Distribution Business, Rajat Vijay Seksaria, as President, Renewable Business-India Power Green Utility Pvt. Ltd. and Anand Kumar Bansal joins as CEO India Uniper Power Services.
Sanjeev Seth, who has joined as the CEO, Transmission and Distribution Business, is a Graduate Electrical Engineer with Management qualification. Besides being a Chartered Engineer and an alumnus of NIT, Jaipur, he is also a qualified MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad.
He comes with twenty nine years of proven experience in diversified businesses with large Indian and Multinational organizations like BSES, Cincinnati Milacron Inc:, Usha Telehoist Limited, ECE Industries Limited. Prior to joining IPCL he was heading Power distribution business at one of Delhi discom BSES - a joint venture of Reliance Infrastructure and Delhi Govt.
Sanjeev strongly believes in smart and hard work, actions and efforts and step by step process and system improvements to achieve set objectives, result oriented targets and working with people to support for collective results, build team and set examples. He has a proven record of turning around organizational results and introducing new products, Top and Bottom line Growth, Market Share, price realization and collection improvements.
Rajat Vijay Seksaria who has joined India Power Green Utility Private Limited as President - Renewable Business is a B.E. (Electrical Engineering) with Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM, Calcutta. He carries with him a rich experience of more than 13 years in infrastructure and energy sector, in the areas of project finance, investment, divestment, strategy and business development.
Before joining India Power, he was associated with Punj Lloyd Infrastructure Limited as Business Head and accomplished many goals including commissioning and divesting of projects. He has also served reputed organizations like SHELL India, Gujarat Gas Company Limited, Ahmedabad, BG Exploration and Production India Ltd., Mumbai.
Anand Kumar Bansal has joined India Uniper Power Services Private Limited (A JV Company of India Power Corp Ltd. and Uniper Kraftwerke GmbH), Kolkata as the Chief Executive Officer. Bansal holds a Major in Commerce from St. Joseph's College, Darjeeling and has attended the Advanced Management Program at ISB Hyderabad and Kellogg, Evanston.
After a small stint in his family business Anand moved on to explore newer avenues and joined GE where he was in charge of directing all operations of the USD 140MM business with domestic and international sales. Prior to joining India Power, Anand worked as the Managing Director at Steag India. Anand is a voracious reader and also enjoys swimming, long drives and Soccer.
