Russia's Head of the Department of Non-Proliferation and Arms Control Mikhail Ulyanov visited India for the annual round of bilateral consultations during which discussions were held on wide range of issues including nuclear, terrorism, and nuclear energy.
The annual consultations, which take place alternately in Delhi and Moscow, saw the presence of Pankaj Sharma, Joint Secretary (Disarmament and International Security Affairs), Ministry of External Affairs leading the Indian delegation.
As part of the series of events to commemorate 70 years of India-Russia Diplomatic Relations, Ulyanov also delivered a lecture at the Foreign Service Institute, New Delhi on March 23 2017 on the theme of 'India-Russia Partnership and Prospects for Non-Proliferation and Arms Control.
