Indian consumers vote their most recommended 'Brand of The Year 2017'

In a glittering ceremony held in New Delhi, attended by stalwarts of the Indian corporate fraternity, Asia's leading consulting firm World Consulting and Research Corporation launched its mega research project to announce the 2017 edition of Consumer Voted 'Brand of The Year 2017', India's Most Recommended consumer brands.

Abhimanyu Ghosh, editor in chief, WCRC and Babul Supriyo, Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprise released the research report in presence of several leaders of the industry.

"Abhimanyu Ghosh, editor in chief, WCRC said the research criteria of Brand of The Year are based on innovation and customer satisfaction of the year. Brand of The Year is based on innovations of a brand and a customer happiness index that defines a brand of the year of its selected category. "

Brand of The Year 2017" is a distinctive and premier recognition for a brand recognized as a leader in its industry category based on previous and current year market standing and consumer preference. It is a result of authentic customer validation and is entirely processed through a superior algorithm based VOTING ENGINE by WCRC." The voting mechanism is done through www.bestbrands360.com.

The high profile event of 'Brand of The Year' kicked off with a panel discussion on CEO's perspective on running a successful brand during rough weathers. The panel included Tarun Rai, CEO, JWT, South Asia, Rohit Ohri, Group Chairman and CEO, FCB India, Parag Kulkarni, MD, AO Smith India and Umesh Revankar, CEO, Shriram Transport Finance. The keynote address of the event was given by Bhaskar Pramanik, Former Chairman, Microsoft India on trust, leadership and innovation to drive a growth of the brand.

Minister of State Finance Arjun Ram Meghwal felicitated the voted winners along with other business leaders.

The event also launched WCRC Leaders Asia, India's Most Trusted CEO's 2017 and India's Most Trusted Education Brands.

The entire evening was a tribute to the spirit of leadership, trust and innovation. RK Somany, CMD Hindware received the Lifetime Achievement Honours from Babul Supriyo and Bhaskar Pramanik for his extra-ordinary work and achievements to lead the growth of Indian Sanitaryware industry globally.
