The Interpol has issued a "red corner" notice for the arrest of the Senior Vice Chairman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Tarique Rahman over charges of murder and explosion of hand grenade in the Awami League rally in 2004.
According to Dhaka Tribune, the Interpol's list of wanted persons had the picture of Tarique along with details about the BNP chief Khaleda Zia's elder son.
Tarique has been in London since 2008 after securing parole in several cases on medical grounds.
Tarique is facing 14 charges wherein four, including the August 21 grenade attack are on trial and the rest are stayed.
