The Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPDT) supporters vandalised the Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPI (M) party office on Wednesday.
They set ablaze 15 motor bikes at Khumulwng area of the city.
Reportedly, after minor skirmish with CPI (M) workers, about 100 IPFT supporters came to Radhapur Police Station for deputation and submission of an FIR which was led by Mevar Jamatia.
While returning from Police Station, IPFT supporters attacked the CPI(M) party office at Forest Chowmohani.
The police had to use mild force to disperse the IPFT supporters.
A specific case has been registered against Mevar Jamatia and IPFT supporters for vandalism.
As per latest reports, the situation is under watch and senior officials of police and civil administration are camping at Khumlwng.
