Abdul Karim Tunda, alleged Lashkar-e-Taiba bomb expert, has told his interrogators that Iqbal Kana, the biggest dealer of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN), used to get the counterfeit currency notes from a Pakistani army officer and used his own network to push them into India.

According to reports, Tunda has revealed that his work was to collect, disburse and push fake Indian currency notes through his network.

A Delhi Court today sent Tunda to four days police custody in connection with 37 bomb blast cases across the country.

Tunda was produced in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Jay Thareja, who decided to hold the proceedings in-camera, after a lawyer started shouting slogans against the terrorist in the packed court room leading to commotion.

Metropolitan Magistrate Thareja extended his custodial interrogation for four days till August 24.

Tunda, who was captured by the Delhi Police last week, was earlier today slapped at Patiala House court here.

The incident reportedly occurred when the Delhi Police produced Tunda in court to seek an extension of his custody for further questioning.

Delhi Police had arrested Tunda, one of the 'most wanted' terrorists in India, late on Friday night on the India-Nepal Border.

Tunda was born in Delhi and later shifted to Pilakhuan, a village in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad District.

Tunda turned into a Jehadi militant at the age of 40. He is said to have had a role in the 1993 Bombay blasts as well as in bomb explosion incidents in Ludhiana, Hyderabad, Sonepat, Panipat and Surat.

Delhi Police is also claiming that he was in touch with Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
