Islamic State (IS) militants have released a new video that features British hostage John Cantlie who appears to claim that the United States failed to save him and other hostages form the IS captivity.
According to the Independent, it is the seventh video in the series called Lend Me Your Ears wherein other photojournalists were featured earlier in orange jumpsuit, delivering an apparently scripted message.
It was a nine minute clip video where the hostage said that the government of the U.S. failed to rescue them and left them to be killed.
He said that it was the worst feeling in the world being left behind in such a way.
He also spoke against military action by the western governments and said that he would continue this until the jihadists allowed him to live.
Cantlie's parents had repeatedly sent messages to IS to release their son.
