Islamabad Airport officials detain U.S. Embassy employee after recovering pistols from him
A United States Embassy employee has been detained by Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel at Islamabad's Benazir Bhutto International Airport after loaded 9mm pistols and about 15 bullets were recovered from his possession.
According to the Dawn, the American Embassy employee has been taken into custody and is being interrogated.
He has been identified as William John and was serving as a trainee at the embassy in Islamabad.
He was scheduled to fly to the United States via Abu Dhabi.
