Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Iranian people of the nuclear deal being negotiated with the world powers saying it is "very bad" for them.

According to BBC, Netanyahu said that the deal would create a "nuclear tinderbox in the heart of the Middle East that could go off".

He said that nothing should be done that would give Tehran government "a clear path to the bomb".

Netanyahu told a joint meeting of the US Congress on Tuesday that the proposals currently being discussed would "all but guarantee" that Iran could obtain nuclear weapons.

Iran insists that the country's nuclear activities are solely for peaceful purposes.
