ixigo.com slashes flight fare; allows Rs. 750 cash-back on every booking

Travel meta search engine ixigo.com has come up with a Monsoon Sale offer for its customers on domestic flight bookings, where the customers can book flight tickets on reduced prices offered by prominent airlines with an additional Rs.750 cash-back on every booking.

Major airlines have already announced big discounts today, such as flat 20 percent off on Jet Airways fares, fares starting with Rs.444 (excl. taxes) by Spicejet.

"Traditionally the period from June mid to September end is considered to be less active for travel and hospitality sector. This is the reason that airlines came up with discounts to lure more and more people to make plans to travel," said VP Growth ixigo, Himanshu Periwal.

"We also decided to upgrade these deals at our end by offering cash back on the flight ticket purchase for our loyal customers. We are hopeful that the buyers will take full benefit of ixigo's offer," added Himanshu Periwal.
