A civilian was killed on Thursday after clashes between the security forces and villagers near the encounter site in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama.
As many as two terrorists were killed in the encounter, which is currently underway.
One of the slain terrorists has been identified as LeT's Mohammad Shafi Shergujari.
The security forces in Jammu and Kashmir launched a cordon and search operation in the Padgampora area earlier in the day after they suspected the presence of terrorists in the area.
